Viewing system emails

I'm correcting our email and screen messages (which is no fun for 9 sites) and I wanted to see the final outcome with the variables included. We were using "group_name" for a while but, when I saw an email using this variable, it was not set (or set to "Wordframe"). I want to make sure that these messages are pulling the right information and are displayed properly. Any easy way to do this?

Can a feed be built for choice of the day?

Disable headline link?

I was hoping there was a way to display posts in a subcommunity in a way that did not give the "read more" link or link from the headline. We'd like to feed in posts that point to a different area so that the main subcommunity page would act as a referrer page.

I found System > Default Post view type and set that to full but that didn't change anything on the page. Am I doing something wrong or is this not an option?

Can users change the URL for their profile?

One of our users wrote in because his URL was incorrect. I'm guessing it was a typo when he first started but now we're not sure how to correct it. I tried changing my own alias but that doesn't change the URL and the Admin screen still says my old alias. Do we have to submit a ticket or is this a delayed change? Does the URL reflect the current alias or just the one they originally used?

"My Drafts" link

SocialMediaToday.com has this link in the top nav for people who are logged in but I'm not seeing it for the other sites. This functionality is in the "Resource Center" and the "User Menu" but I don't know how to add it to the top bar.

Is there a way to see and pause (stop incoming posts) a feed from a user?

We seem to have a user whose feed is updating every hour with all the posts, flooding our system with duplicates. Is there a way to see what feed is causing this so we can diagnose the problem? Additionally, can we pause this feed so these stop coming through?
